Information Collection

The Chicago Center for Diabetes Translation Research (CCDTR) is the sole owner of the information collected on the website. The CCDTR collects information voluntarily submitted by visitors to the website, which enables us to respond to requests. We do not collect any personal information from you, apart from which you voluntarily provide. We gather this information from our users at several different points on our website.

For each visitor to our website, our web server automatically recognizes the user’s domain name, where possible. The information we collect is used to improve the content and functionality of our website.

We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies.

Information Use


A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s computer tied to information about the user. Cookies are not programs that come onto a visitor’s system and damage files. We use session-based cookies to analyze website use and trends. Usage of a cookie is not linked to personally identifiable information while on our site.
