Sang Mee Lee, PhD joined the Department of Health Studies as a Research Associate (Assistant Professor) in September of 2011. Dr. Lee is a biostatistician with extensive collaborative experience in the design and analysis of clinical studies. During her PhD studies at the University of Minnesota, she worked on statistical genetics including gene pathway analysis and development of parametric/nonparametric models and optimization algorithms. Currently, Dr. Lee is involved in multiple studies related to diverse diabetes and cancer research, in which she collaborates with investigators on study design, study execution, data analysis and interpretation and manuscript preparation.
