The Office of Health Policy conducts policy research on health care financing, health care access and coverage, public health, and health care quality and outcomes. They work on programs and issues across the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), including Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP, the Exchanges, HRSA safety net programs, and the Indian Health Service.

On November 3rd, CDRP Director Elbert Huang, M.D., M.P.H., F.A.C.P., was a guest speaker on the UChicago Medicine Community Health Focus Hour on WVON 1690AM, along with fellow CDRP investigator Doriane Miller, M.D., and Sheila Harmon, MSN. A discussion was held on how patients can utilize medical and community resources to improve their health.
