2014 Symposium on Pharmaceutical Policy and Vulnerable Populations

The Center for Translational and Policy Research of Chronic Diseases, directed by CCDTR Associate Director Elbert Huang, is hosting its 2nd annual Chronic Disease Center symposium on Tuesday, September 9, 2014. At the symposium, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about:

  • The impact of the 340B program on the federal government, the pharmaceutical industry, and healthcare organizations
  • The effect of Medicaid expansion on the distribution and quality of care
  • The implications of high priced specialty drugs for vulnerable populations.
