August 28, 2014 – Today, one of our CCDTR research teams’ projects led by Oluseyi Fayanju received an honorable mention at the Pritzker School of Medicine’s Summer Research Program (SRP) Awards Ceremony. The project was entitled, “Variation in Perceptions of Diabetes Quality Improvement Among Clinic Staff: A Case Study of Six Chicago Clinics.” SRP student Oluseyi Fayanju’s lead mentors for the project were Marshall H. Chin, MD, MPH and Monica E. Peek, MD, MPH. The listed authors for the project are Oluseyi Fayanju, Yue Gao, Robert Nocon, Nora Geary, Daniel Rowell, Marshall H. Chin, MD, MPH, and Monica E. Peek, MD, MPH.
The name of the award that the team received was Honorable Mention of Excellence in the 2014 Summer Research Forum. Major funding for the project came from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK). Congratulations Oluseyi and team!
