The Department of Medicine’s ninth annual Research Day will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2014. This year’s keynote speaker will be Carl June, MD the Richard W. Vague Professor in Immunotherapy, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. Dr. June also serves as the Director of Translational Research at the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania, and is an investigator of the Abramson Family Cancer Research Institute. Dr. June’s talk, “Engineering T cells to overcome tolerance,” will be delivered as part of Medicine Grand Rounds at noon in P117.
The poster session will begin at 1:30 in the DCAM 4th floor atrium followed by an awards ceremony at 4:00pm. Each year, several CCDTR investigators present posters about their research at the Department of Medicine’s Research Day.
