Power Up: A Home Run Hit!

Deb Burnet News

August 26, 2013 – Power Up All Stars has showcased five successful runs at the White Sox U.S. Cellular Park. Patrons, especially children, are thrilled to join in physical activity stations located on levels 100 and 500 during the game. One parent stated, “I am happy this is here while the game is going on.” Activity stations include Jumping Jacks, Hula Hoop, Hopscotch and Dance Party where the Sox’s own Southpaw danced a step or two. On Sunday, August 25, 2013, Dr. Deborah Burnet, Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics, hosted the final Power Up All Stars Family Sunday with the Chicago White Sox by throwing out the first pitch!
